What qualification do I receive?

Upon course completion, candidates who succeed will receive a Highfield Awarding Body accreditation certificate. This certificate remains valid for three years.

What is covered?

This course encompasses essential first aider responsibilities, incident assessment, CPR, AED utilisation, assisting choking victims, managing bleeding, and addressing shock. You will engage in hands-on practical training, utilizing our training AED machines and CPR Dolls.

Upon completion, you will possess the skills and confidence to aid in diverse emergencies. Additionally, you’ll acquire knowledge in casualty assessment, managing electrical incidents, and more. The assessment involves practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice test.

How long is my certificate valid?

Your certificate remains valid for 3 years. After this period, you’ll need to attend a 1-day course to refresh your knowledge and stay updated on any new or amended legislation.
