Who is this course for?
Certified first aiders should retake this course every 3 years to meet regulations. You can renew it up to 90 days before or 28 days after it expires. You’ll need your current certificate as evidence.

It takes about 15 hours, over a period of 2 consecutive days.
How much does it cost?
£228.00 including VAT per person
What qualification do I receive?
Upon course completion, candidates who succeed will receive a Highfield Awarding Body accreditation certificate. This certificate remains valid for three years
What is covered?
This 2-day course covers various first aid situations and updates your knowledge, including any protocol changes. It includes topics like first aider roles, assessing incidents, recognizing injuries and illnesses, CPR, AED use, and dealing with major injuries and anaphylaxis.
Completing this course prepares you to help in different situations, such as unresponsive individuals, heart attacks, strokes, and more. The assessment involves practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice test. It offers comprehensive training beyond basic workplace first aid, covering a wider range of injuries and medical conditions.
