This qualification is for people who want to be paediatric first-aiders at work, especially if they care for infants and children. It’s designed for those in or planning to enter this field and meets Early Years Foundation Stage standards.

What qualification do I receive?
Upon course completion, candidates who succeed will receive a Highfield Awarding Body accreditation certificate. This certificate remains valid for three years
What is covered?
A 2-day paediatric first aid course, accredited by Highfield Awarding Body (HABC), comprehensively covers essential skills and knowledge for providing immediate and effective care to infants and children during emergencies. Candidates learn critical topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), injury assessment, managing common childhood illnesses and conditions, and ensuring a safe environment for young children. This course equips individuals with the expertise needed to respond confidently and competently to pediatric medical situations.
