This 2 day course is designed for project managers, site supervisors, business owners, and those responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering members of staff and workforce. This course will refresh and update your knowledge of your responsibilities for site safety, health, welfare and the environment, enabling you to provide healthy and safe working conditions for everyone at the workplace. You must sit this course before your 5 year SMTS certificate expires.
This refresher course must be taken before your original 5 year certificate expires. If you do not attend this course before your certificate expires, you will have to re sit the full SMSTS course. Passing this course will renew your certificate for another 5 year period.
The course will cover many topics which will build on those previously covered in the full SMSTS course.
This course has been endorsed by BUILD UK as a required standard to be met by all managers working on BUILD UK sites. This is a highly interactive course, involving case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual/group presentations.
