OUR COMPLIANCE TRAINING COURSES
ABRASIVE WHEELS AWARENESS
The awareness course, conducted in a classroom setting, explores various abrasive wheel types, diamond blades, cutting, and grinding methods. Participants will gain the expertise to choose the appropriate wheel, identify necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), and safely operate cutting and grinding tools.
Our asbestos awareness training, conducted in a classroom setting, is designed to prevent asbestos disturbance, emphasise the importance of taking necessary precautions before commencing work, and instruct on the action to be taken if there is uncertainty about materials in the work area.
BANKSMAN FOR THE REVERSING OF VEHICLES
Operating and maneuvering vehicles on-site poses a significant risk of workplace accidents, including severe and, at times, fatal injuries. Properly training site and yard personnel significantly diminishes the chances of expensive accidents and property damage. Our Banksman course aids employers in meeting health and safety regulations.
CONFINED SPACE AWARENESS
This course takes place in a classroom setting. A workplace qualifies as a ‘confined space’ when it is not designed for easy entry or comfortable maneuvering once inside. Typically, a confined space allows people to enter and work but has limited entry and exit points, making it unsuitable for extended stays.
EMERGENCY SPILLS (COSHH)
Our emergency spill/COSHH awareness course contributes to ISO 14001 compliance and aligns with regulations such as Pollution Prevention Guidelines and Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations (COMAH). It plays a role in your Pollution Incident Response Plan.
HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE - LEVEL 1
Principles of Health & Safety
This course is ideal for induction and awareness of basic health and safety principles for young persons or new employees within organisations or individuals wishing to commence health and safety qualifications.
HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE - LEVEL 2
Foundation Health & Safety
This course also covers Level 1. The course is ideal for team leaders and supervisors to assist in health and safety compliance. This course provides you with the knowledge of safe practices that are essential in the workplace.
HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE - LEVEL 3
Intermediate Health & Safety
This course covers elements from both levels 1 & 2. The course is aimed at supervisors and managers to enable them to have an all-round knowledge of health and safety compliance that affects their duties within the workplace, and to promote a positive health and safety culture within their organisation.
This training course is designed for both operatives and supervisors seeking to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for safe and effective work involving steps and ladders. It focuses on providing participants with comprehensive guidance on the proper handling and usage of these tools, emphasising safety protocols and best practices.
Our manual handling course addresses a critical concern in workplace safety. Each year, over a quarter of reported accidents to the appropriate enforcing authorities are connected to the manual transportation or support of loads. Such incidents frequently result in injuries like sprains, strains, back damage, and hernias.
MANUAL HANDLING INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
This course is tailored for supervisors who provide guidance to their staff regarding proper manual handling techniques. It equips instructors with the knowledge and skills needed to adhere to manual handling guidelines and promote safe practices among their trainees.
WORKING AT HEIGHT AWARENESS
This course is conducted in a classroom setting. According to the Work at Height Regulations 2005, employers must ensure a thorough risk assessment is conducted to identify, control, and manage all potential work at height hazards effectively.
