The order picker truck is commonly used in industry both inside and outside of a warehouse. Order pickers are categorised as low, medium and high level.
Low level: Generally used for loads that can comfortably be picked up from ground level and transported directly to a lorry, van or other loading area.
Medium level: Similar to a small reach fork lift truck, but different in the fact that the pickers are manoeuvred from a cage attached to the fork carriage, and pallets are used to manually handle items on and off the pallet. They can operate in very narrow aisles, using wire or rail-guides and can move quickly between the picking stations.
High level: The order pickers are manoeuvred from within a cage attached to the fork carriage, and pallets are used to manually handle items on and off the pallet. The forks can be raised or lowered to maintain a comfortable working height for loading items on the pallet. They can operate in very narrow aisles, using wire or rail-guides and can lift loads up to 15.85 meters high, moving quickly between the picking stations.
A training course is available for each category, however completion of the high level order picker will equip you to operate all three categories.

This course type is currently only available to those business customers who can accommodate training on their site.
