Refresher Course
TL Training defines a ‘Refresher’ as somebody who has previous experience of using this specific truck type and can provide documentary evidence of previous formal training.
Our RTITB Refresher Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 3 delegates. The number of training days required depends upon the number of candidates.
Pendant control – in which the crane is manoeuvred by a pendant control attached to the crane that is held at ground level by the operator.
Remote control – this is similar to pendant control system but the remote control is not attached to the crane, therefore the operator has more freedom to work from the optimum location.
Availability
This course type is currently only available to those business customers who can accommodate training on their site.
This course covers, but is not limited to, the following subject areas
- Introduction to the controls
- Operating the crane in four directions
- Controlling hook swing
- Completion of pre-use inspection
- Basic signalling protocols
- Basic slinging techniques
