What qualification do I receive?
Upon successfully completing the course, candidates who pass will be issued an RTITB certificate, which has no expiration date. However, it is advisable to undergo refresher training every three years. Additionally, candidates will be registered on the NORs database.
What is covered?
The 5-day RTITB counterbalance novice course covers comprehensive training in operating counterbalance forklifts, including forklift controls, load handling, safety protocols, and maintenance.
Upon successful completion, candidates can progress to the 2-day RTITB reach truck conversion course, where they adapt their skills to safely and efficiently operate reach trucks. Topics encompass reach truck controls, stability, load handling, and specialized safety for reach trucks.
These courses collectively equip participants with the competence to operate both counterbalance and reach trucks, enhancing their forklift operation skills.
