A Category C license allows drivers to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, however this must not exceed 32 tonnes. Category C licences usually cover a vehicle with a cab and trailer fixed permanently together. Drivers must be 18 or over in order to enrol on this course. The Category C license is the most popular HGV license in the UK. This training is an excellent stepping stone for candidates who may wish to further their qualifications and career opportunities and gain their Category C + E license.
