Category C Training Course
One training course that we do provide is the Category C training programme. The category C license allows drivers to drive rigid bodied vehicles over 7.5 tonnes. Anyone wanting to attend this course must be at least the age of 18 a hold a valid category B driving license. Drivers must also prove to be medically fit to drive such large vehicles.
Examples of category C vehicles include home delivery trucks, fire engines, roadside recovery vehicles, home and commercial removal trucks, waste disposal trucks and gritters.
During this course you will learn various reversing and parking techniques to enable you to handle the vehicle safely and efficiently. The aim of this course is to give candidates confidence in themselves and their ability to drive such large and heavy vehicles on everyday roads.
