The CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course is a one day course designed for people who are planning on, or are already working in the construction and engineering industry. It is the first step to obtaining your CSCS Green Labourers card and certification, that lasts for five years.
The course provides a basic introduction to understanding potential construction site hazards and covers the ways in which everyone on site can contribute to maintaining a safe work space. Candidates will become familiar with their responsibilities and duties and what they should do it someone’s health and safety is compromised.
The course is endorsed by BUILD UK as standard training for all operatives on site. Our instructors are CITB accredited and can promise you will complete the day feeling confident in your knowledge and ability to deal with any issues that may arise within the workplace. Our CITB Health and Safety Awareness course in Liverpool is completely jargon free. Following this course, candidates may also wish to progress to either the SSSTS or SMSTS course, depending on their job role.
