The CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is recognised as a standard requirement by many companies for all managers and supervisors working on their sites. The course is designed for those who are responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling an administering groups of staff.
This is a 5 day jargon free and interactive course, provided by CITB certified instructors. The course is available to candidates living in Liverpool and the surrounding area. It is also endorsed by BUILD UK as a required standard to be met by all managers working on BUILD UK sites.
The course is designed to educate managers about the importance of risk assessments within the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to maintain a health and safety minded business. The SMSTS also covers all of the relevant legislation that is set out to protect the well being of employees within the industry.

The SMSTS course is highly interactive and thought-provoking and involves class discussions, case studies and group activities.
Upon completion, candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for 5 years. You must then complete the SMSTS refresher course before your certificate expires. This is a 2 day course designed to enable to you update your existing knowledge and make sure you are aware of any changes to legislation which may affect your work.
