The CITB is the International training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland and Wales. Their aim is to provide employers with the training standards and qualifications they want for their people, when they want it. They work with the industry to ensure training standards and qualifications are right for its needs.
We offer a number of CITB training courses to those in the Cheshire and surrounding area. Our courses provide health and safety awareness and are endorsed by Build UK as standard training for all operative on site.
Our CITB Courses
CITB Health and Safety Awareness:
This 1 day course is the first step for those working in the construction industry and wanting to gain their CSCS Green Labourers Card. The course objective is to teach individuals how to manage risks and work together to ensure their workplace is a safe environment. Topics covered in this course include manual handling, occupational health and how to keep yourself and others safe.
CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS):
A 5 day course aimed at project managers, site supervisors, business owners, and those responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering members of staff in the workforce. The course will cover the relevant legislation and how managers/supervisors can aim to diminish danger and risk in the workplace.
CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS):
A 2 day course for those with managerial/supervisory roles in the construction industry. The course aims to ensure supervisors can confidently and competently contribute to the safety of the workplace by providing the knowledge required to deliver valuable support to those working on site.
We also offer refresher courses for SMSTS and the SSSTS courses. These courses are interactive and delivered by CITB accredited professionals. You will receive official CITB publications which you can keep and use as future reference tools.
