CITB is the Industry Training Board for the construction industry and a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. The CITB aims to provide those working in the construction industry with the essential skills necessary to carry out daily tasks safely and efficiently.

Below is a list of the CITB courses we provide in Liverpool and across the surrounding areas:
- CITB Health & Safety Awareness (HSA): 1 day course aimed at those working in the construction and engineering industry and is recommended for those wishing to gain an industry site card (CSCS Green Laboured Card)
- CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS): 5 day course for project managers, site supervisors, business owners, and those responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering members of staff and workforce. Teaches the importance of maintaining a safe work space and how to diminish hazards and risks in the workplace. Certification lasts for 5 years.
- CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS): 2 day course aimed at those in the industry with a supervisory role. Certification lasts for 5 years.
- SSSTS Refresher Course: 1 day course
- SMSTS Refresher Course: 2 day course
Those attending the above courses will receive official CITB publications which can be used throughout the course and taken home to use within the work place.
