Driver CPC Training In Chester

Driver CPC Training

The Driver CPC qualification is essential to many roles within the driving industry. Recent changes to EU Law now require drivers to demonstrate their understanding of the demands of driving large vehicles on the roads. Drivers must complete their CPC in order to gain their Driver Qualification Card (DQC).

The Driver CPC qualification has been designed to enable professional drivers to carry out their work safely and efficiently, leading to a decrease in the number of traffic accidents involving professional drivers. If driving larger vehicles is part of your job you could be fined up to £1,000 for driving without a CPC.

At TL Training we are passionate about the safety and well being of those who train with us. We have an excellent Driver CPC course available for candidates in Chester and the surrounding area. Our expert team of trainers will offer you full support throughout the course. For those who already hold their Driver CPC, TL Training can also help you retain your qualification with our periodic training.

What Level Of Training Do I Require?

If you passed your driving test before 10/01/1997 then you have something called acquired rights. You can find this information on the back of your driving license. These acquired rights mean that you do not need to pass any exams in order to gain your CPC however you do need to attend a 35 hour training course. If you passed your driving test after 10/01/1997 then you will not have acquired rights. This means that you will be required to sit both a theoretical and a practical test in order to demonstrate your knowledge and skills and gain your Driver CPC.

What Will The Course Cover?
