First Aid Training Courses In North Wales

We offer a number of different First Aid Training Courses, catering to different levels. We can cater for the needs of different organisations and their diverse workforces.
TL Training run the following first aid courses in North Wales:
1 Day Emergency First Aid At Work Course:
It is recommended that at least 1 person (for every 50) is trained in first aid. There should also be at least 1 other individual within the establishment who is able to take over these duties in the event of absence. The course will equip you with how to deal with incidents such as choking, bleeding, unresponsive casualties and much more. 3 Day First Aid At Work Course:
This course will include information on topics covered in the 1 day emergency first aid at work course, as well as how to treat a variety of different injuries and medical conditions. Candidates will become familiar with how to treat minor injuries and illnesses as well as treating casualties who are experiencing life threatening illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, severe allergic reactions and asthma attacks.
2 Day First Aid At Work Re-qualification:
The Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981 state that first aiders must renew their first aid qualification every 3 years in order to meet the statutory guidelines. Candidates must provide their original first aid certificate as proof for requalification. The aim of this course if to refresh candidates existing knowledge.
First Aid Annual Refresher Course:
Those who are first aid trained are recommended to attend a refresher course every 3 years in order to update their existing knowledge and become familiar to any changes to protocols and procedures.
2 Day Paediatric First Aid Course:
This course has been designed specifically for those who are caring for children and young people i.e. those working in nurseries, childminders, after school clubs, schools. The course meets Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements. During this course you will learn how to treat children who are choking, bleeding, burnt, having a seizure, and many other ailments or injuries. Mental Health First Aid Course:
This course is designed to teach candidates how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental ill health. Candidates will learn how to identify whether someone is struggling mentally, how to treat them, and how to point them in the right direction for further help. The training will be split up into 4 manageable sections covering a vast number of topics.
