First Aid Requalification Courses In Wirral
First Aid is a skill that can be used throughout your life. The training provides you with the knowledge and tools to act fast and help prevent an illness or injury worsening and to maybe even save a life. However such responsibilities should not be taken lightly. At TL Training we never want anybody to feel unprepared in the event of an emergency, or feel like they cannot remember certain parts of their training. Therefore we recommend that all our candidates seek further training in refresher courses and become requalified.
When you receive your first aid training, you are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to be able to ‘offer immediate assistance to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery’. Although you have these skills, there may not have been many opportunities for you to put them into practice.
At TL Training we want those we work with to continue to feel confident and prepared at all times. We offer a 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification course for qualified first aiders who are looking to update their existing knowledge and skills.
First aiders must requalify every 3 years in order to meet statutory requirements of Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981). Requalification can take place up to 90 days prior to the expiry of the current first aid certificate and up to 28 days after expiry. Candidates must provide a copy of their current first aid certificate as proof of requalification.
