At TL Training, we offer a number of first aid training courses in Wirral for businesses and individuals. These courses include first aid at work, paediatric first aid, mental health first aid, and many more. Our first aid courses provide you with invaluable skills that can allow you to treat casualties who have experienced minor or major injuries/illness, as well as those who are suffering from mental health illness.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare in Britain. Most first aid certificates are valid for 3 years. However, the HSE strongly recommend that you also attend annual first aid refresher courses. The aim of these courses is to refresh your existing knowledge and to sharpen up on your first aid skills. You will also become aware of any changes to practices. The annual first aid courses are ideal for candidates who have received the relevant training, but have never had to put their knowledge to use in real life scenarios.
You can renew a first aid training certificate anytime from 90 days before expiry. Emergency first aid at work (1 day) must be retaken in full. The 3 day first aid at work training can be refreshed with a 2 day re-qualification course. These refreshers must be taken before your original certificate expires, or within 28 days of your certificate expiring.
