Paediatric First Aid In North Wales
You will never wake up one specific morning and know that you are going to need to use first aid that day. However, you can receive the appropriate training in order to ensure that you are fully prepared for when that day does come. First aid training provides you with the tools and knowledge necessary to save a life. Our paediatric first aid course has been designed for those who are responsible for taking care of children.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who is 16+ and is working with/looking after children of any age is welcome to attend. For example:

What Will Be Covered?
Our 2 day paediatric first aid course in North Wales is HSE approved and certification is valid for 3 years. TL Training is a Highfield approved training centre and those who complete this course will receive a Highfield Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (FQF). Our expert instructors will offer full support throughout this interactive, informative and highly gratifying course. Our first aid trainers are extremely passionate about helping you, help others.
What Will I Know On Completion?
Upon completion, candidates will know what to do if a child is:
- • Choking
- • Unresponsive and breathing
- • Unresponsive and not breathing
- • Bleeding
- • Burnt or has a scald
- • Has an object in their eye or ear
- • Has sickness
- • Has a fever
- • Has hypothermia or heat exhaustion

- • How to assess injuries
- • How to deal with a seizure
- • Dealing with sudden serious illness

Our first aid training is hands on and provides candidates with the skills and confidence to use first aid in a real life situation. If you do not need this training for work but would like to learn first aid for babies and children, our first aid level 2 course (1 day) is perfect for new and expectant parents, grandparents and carers.
