Fork Lift Truck Instructor Training In North Wales
The course is aimed at more experienced employees who wish to take on the role of fork lift truck instructor in their workplace or for their own commercial reasoning. The course will provide candidates with the skills required to instruct and examine operators for the working environment of lift trucks. Candidates will be equipped to understand how to do this in accordance with agreed best practice.
Skills required to be a Fork Lift Truck Instructor
- • RTITB certified to a high standard of operating ability for the fork lift truck category that they wish to train on
- • Must have a high regard for health and safety
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills
- • Required to continually assess progress of candidates and provide corrective tuition and assistance where appropriate
Candidates must pass an examination in order to successfully complete this instructor course. upon completion of the course, candidates may then register themselves on the RTITB Register of Professional Instructors. To enrol onto this course candidates must be able to provide evidence of successful completion of the basic operating skills test on a counterbalance reach truck in the past 12 months. It is recommended that candidates hold a minimum of 6 months operating experience.
