VEHICLE MOUNTED HYDRAULIC LOADER

The vehicle mounted hydraulic loader is often referred to as a lorry loader, or by the manufacturer name ‘Hiab’. It is used in industry to unload and load goods from the lorry on which it is mounted.
Availability:
This course type is currently only available to those business customers who can accommodate training on their site.
The course covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Machine controls and instruments
- Set up for lifting operations
- Basic operations (raising, lowering, slewing)
- Preparing and securing for travel
- Lifting and placing loads at various levels
- Selection and use of attachments
- Load weight assessment
- The principles of safe operation
Course Types:
Our courses are split into three separate category types:
Novice Course
TL Training defines a ‘Novice’ as somebody who has no previous (or very limited) experience of using this specific truck type.
Our RTITB Novice Operator Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 3 delegates. The number of training days required depends upon the number of candidates.
1 Candidate = 2 Day Course
2 Candidates = 3 Day Course
3 Candidates = 3 Day Course
Refresher Course
TL Training defines a ‘Refresher’ as somebody who has previous experience of using this specific truck type and can provide documentary evidence of previous formal training.
Our RTITB Refresher Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 3 delegates. The number of training days required depends upon the number of candidates.

2 Candidates = 1 Day Course
3 Candidates = 1 Day Course
Existing Operator Course
TL Training defines an ‘Existing Operator’ as somebody who has previous experience of using this specific truck type but has not received formal training or has no documentary evidence to prove previous training took place.
Our RTITB Existing Operator Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 3 delegates. The number of training days required depends upon the number of candidates.
