First Aid at Work Training and Requalification
First Aid at Work takes three days and goes considerably further, adding fractures, spinal and head injuries, burns, poisoning and a range of specific medical conditions to what your first aiders can handle confidently. Once somebody holds it, renewal only takes two days rather than the original three, as long as you get them booked in before the existing certificate runs out.
Paediatric First Aid Training
Paediatric First Aid is the two-day Level 3 qualification required across regulated childcare, and it earns its place anywhere children are regularly on your premises. Treating a child is not a scaled-down version of treating an adult, which shows up most sharply with choking, where small airways behave differently and the response has to change accordingly.
